Singapore - The Lion City

I went to Singapore on a scholarship in 1991. Of the 20 participants in the seminar, 6 were Filipinos. It was a two-month training in Systems Analysis and Design conducted by the Japan-Singapore Institute of Software Technology located at Singapore Polytechnic. We were billeted the Hotel Equatorial located in Bukit Timah. My photo album was missing, and these were the only photos left which I found and scanned.

Taken on our first day in Singapore somewhere in the Central Business District.

Although Singapore is predominantly non-Christian, Christmas can be seen and felt as early as November. Taken outside Raffles City.

After two months of training, finally we get our Certificate of Completion.
